Film Plot: Four young friends get together in 90′s middle class Mumbai to start a company, which turns out to be an instant hit due to their unorthodox methods.
Comments by Shyam: 2 Things…. This movie is FRESH cause it has an ensemble cast which looks good together. Also the performance is very good considering the fact that 3 out of the 4 lead are virtually new comers. Also the background is cool as is the music. And most importantly, Anushka Sharma is looking smoking hot throughout the movie which inevitably raises the oomph quotient. Second…this movie is PREDICTABLE in the way the movie progress and eventually we get a movie that says “honesty is the best virtue”. What was supposed to be something in the mold of “21″ turns out to be typical good-over-bad, right-over-wrong bolly movie. Also at nearly 2hours and 30 minutes, its too long to handle. On the whole, Badmaash Company is a watchable experience for various reasons, the prime reason being it offers entertainment, but doesn’t insult your intelligence.

After a “encounter” with his friends mom, Alex is forced to move in with his grandmother. Trying to save face with his younger co-workers, Alex says that he is living “with three hot babes” (meaning his grandmother and her two roommates)
Comments by Shyam: If you go into this movie expecting a sophisticated plot, dramatic characters, or heartfelt moments, you will be very, very disappointed. On the other hand, if you don’t care whether a movie has a plot, as long as it’s funny, Grandma’s Boy will definitely satisfy. With plenty of stupid and silly moments (the Lara Croft scene is hilarious) and one-liners, most fans of “stupid humor” will enjoy themselves. If you’re an uptight, stick-up-the-butt type, you will likely curse the day you saw it. Stay home and eat Cheetos if you take dumb comedies that seriously.

No, it’s not perfect. The “robot” kid is freaking annoying, and some of the gross stuff feels forced. But ah…what are you gonna do? Better than watching another painful romantic comedy, right?

When the virtual relationship takes off, Holly finds herself having to produce the suitor, borrowing her friend’s charming and handsome Uncle Ben as the face behind the e-mails, notes and gifts. Holly must resort to increasingly desperate measures to keep the ruse alive and protect her mom’s newfound happiness, almost missing the real perfect man when he does come along
Comments by Shyam: Every so often a mother-daughter movie comes out that really makes an impression. But “A Perfect Man” (2005) really hits hard at some relevant and pertinent issues confronting many young females across America. This is a timely and powerful light entertaining movie for single mothers and their daughters with a great message and hard message about having to be responsible, growing up, and working through problems not running away from them. The only scene that became hard to watch was one in the restaurant that seemed harshly cruel and unwarranted on the part of Hillary Duff’s character. The script was good and the performances were decent. The resolution with the mother was particularly well-balanced unlike most other American endings that have to go out of their way to really highlight such endings. I regard this movie as one of the high points of the year for an enjoyable, but worthwhile teenage family movie.

Film Plot: After Bella recovers from the vampire attack that almost claimed her life, she looks to celebrate her birthday with Edward and his family. However, a minor accident during the festivities results in Bella’s blood being shed, a sight that proves too intense for the Cullens, who decide to leave the town of Forks, Washington for Bella and Edward’s sake. Initially heartbroken, Bella finds a form of comfort in reckless living, as well as an even-closer friendship with Jacob Black. Danger in different forms awaits
Comments by Shyam: Sometime a movie comes along and a big bubble of hype emerges. If seen the 2 movies now (thank god for girlfriends)….. All I can say this is not what a good movie should be like, there are some nice CGI moments in the movie but beside that nothing. It feels like an empty shell, bad acting. I really was getting annoyed by the mainstars they looked to each other the whole time like they were on some kind of drug. At no point I was feeling the true romance between Edward and Belle.
The thing what made me even think less about the movie was the strange make-up choice. The red eye vampires were a big joke. Basically almost all action shoots where in the trailer so if people do want action don’t go to this movie. With it’s 2 hours it’s on the long side specially when you see the dragging of the movie. Big things didn’t get a big explanation and got off with a few lines of text.
To me this whole Twilight hype just goes to show no good movies come from this. Stop with the movies and keep it with the books.

Tag Line: When you can live forever what do you live for?
Awards: 23 wins & 7 nominations
Production: Summit Entertainment
Director: Catherine Hardwicke

Cast: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Billy Burke, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Cam Gigandet, Ashley Greene, Christian Serratos, Anna Kendrick, Nikki Reed, Taylor Lautner, Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone, Michael Welch, Gil Birmingham
Film Plot: Bella Swan has always been a little bit different. Never one to run with the crowd, Bella never cared about fitting in with the trendy, plastic girls at her Phoenix, Arizona high school. When her mother remarried and Bella chooses to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she didn’t expect much of anything to change. But things do change when she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen. For Edward is nothing like any boy she’s ever met. He’s nothing like anyone she’s ever met, period. He’s intelligent and witty, and he seems to see straight into her soul. In no time at all, they are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance – unorthodox because Edward really isn’t like the other boys. He can run faster than a mountain lion. He can stop a moving car with his bare hands. Oh, and he hasn’t aged since 1918. Like all vampires, he’s immortal. That’s right – vampire. But he doesn’t have fangs – that’s just in the movies. And he doesn’t drink human blood, though Edward and his family are unique among vampires in that lifestyle choice. To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited 90 years for – a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. Somehow or other, they will have to manage their unmanageable love. But when unexpected visitors come to town and realize that there is a human among them Edward must fight to save Bella? A modern, visual, and visceral Romeo and Juliet story of the ultimate forbidden love affair – between vampire and mortal
Comments by Shyam: To start out, I read the books and loved them. I hated this movie. It was just not good. Edward and Bella didn’t work well together in this movie. They had zero chemistry. It was actually awkward for me to sit there and watch them on screen. The action was weak and the special effects were awful. the music didn’t really match the mood of the scenes either. I also found myself laughing at romantic and even sad parts of the movie because the acting was so bad. In the end, this movie will only do well because the thousands of brainwashed moms and teeny bopper girls will think it’s the best movie ever. I gave it a chance and in the end it was a let down. In defense of the movie, once in a while i was entertained.

Film Plot: Mary Fiore is the wedding planner. She’s ambitious, hard-working, extremely organized, and she knows exactly what to do and say to make any wedding a spectacular event. Bt when Mary falls (literally) for a handsome doctor her busy yet uncomplicated life is turned upside down – he’s the groom in the biggest wedding of her career! Will she help him walk down the aisle with his internet tycoon girlfriend, or will Mary finally get to be the bride herself? When it comes to love, you can never plan what’s going to happen
Comments by Shyam: he Wedding Planner is the must see date movie of the year. It’s a romantic comedy with all the right elements. But it goes above and beyond the standard chick-flick with so many lovable characters that you can’t decide which one you want to win at the game of love!

Matthew McConaughey is Prince Charming as Pediatrician Steve Edison, a successful yet sweet man about to marry the “ideal girl”. Jennifer Lopez is fantastic as a wedding planner who can seem to find herself a good man so she obsesses over everything else instead.

I give this movie 5 stars and two big thumbs up! To sum it all up: it’s charming, funny, sweet, sentimental and just down right pleasant.

Comments by Shyam: Aamir does it again. what a movie .from start to the end, hilarious moments.screenplay is fantastic. full on comedy and yet it never looses its heart. Aamir pulls off a 22 year old character with brilliance. never for once you feel you are watching aamir .It was rancho on screen. sharman n madhavan – i bow down to them. music looks OK on cd but during movie it worked as a plus point. situational tracks works in the favour of film. runtime may sound a bit too much but believe me, you wont know when the first half is over. second half may seem a bit too hilarious but apart from that its a masterpiece. gr8 aamir ,another brilliant movie.10/10

I found it a little slow at times; it had it’s good and bad parts. It’s a movie of healing for lost loved ones in your life and it walks you through the paces of grief.Jennifer Aniston is magical.it was more about grieving and getting over the death of a loved one then it was about love. Aaron Eckhart was the perfect match for Aniston in this movie there was this huge chemistry between them love it. Release date: 11 December 2009 (INDIA)
Genre: Comedy | Drama
Production: Yash Raj Films
Director: Shimit Amin
Runtime: 150 min
Cast: Ranbir Kapoor, Gauhar Khan
Film Plot: Harpreet Singh Bedi (Ranbir Kapoor) has just graduated, and his marks are, well, let’s say a little embarrassing. But marks never stopped him from dreaming of an exciting and adventurous career, and they never will. ‘Rocket Singh – Salesman of the Year’ is the sometimes thoughtless, sometimes thoughtful story of a fresh graduate trying to find a balance between the maddening demands of the ‘professional’ way, and the way of his heart – and stumbling upon a crazy way which turned his world upside down, and his career right side up. Welcome to the world of sales, boss!
Comments by Shyam: Ranbir Kapoor has truly taken the Kapoor legacy forward today. He is exceptional as a young sardar guy. The movie is as great as its script, story and dialogs. The movie captures the ethical dilemma of a young entrant entering the corrupt world of selling. The protagonist takes the lead out of the compromiser of values and creates his own organization with ethics and values. He shows that for your long term sustainability one must be honest with his work and people he is working with. The dialogs were well written by Mr. Sahni. One of my favorites is “do business but don’t become businessman”. Some might not like it not being like a typical bollywood movie with naach-gaana and melodrama but still it has something for everyone – a great lesson – don’t be hypocrite.
